This deal leaves Russia's man in Kyiv in place. Might not fly.

At least the deal leaves Ukraine nominally independent from Russia and maybe, just maybe, Yulia Timoshenko (sp?) will be let of jail to run for the Presidency again.

I sort of saw this BS happening when they put her in jail for doing her job. El Presedente gives live ammo to the cops, and I bet he doesn't even get a parking ticket.

The EU also signed off on this, but not Russia. Those some protesters includes the extreme right which has been responsible for most of the violence.

You're watching too much RT News.

According to the Russians anyone opposed to their sock-puppet dictator is a fascist.

This is not a right/left issue for the simple fact that its an ethnic divide that's driving this confrontation.

It's Ukrainians against Russians, not right against left.

It does, but I cannot imagine after the bloodshed of the last couple of days that enough if the opposition will bite. Some leaders may, but it looks like the blood is up now.

How do you step back from snipers in the streets?

I would say that their sock-puppet dictator is the working definition of fascist.

On the radio just now they're saying Yulia Timoshenko is being released from prison after thirty months! [cheer]

If they're in the street then you step back from the window into the shadows, carefully pick your target, and then fire. 8)

That's actually good news.

Have to wait and see if the deal takes, and if the protesters will accept it.

Was quiet last night.

Seems to be quiet tonight as well.
