In the affidavit filed in support of case, Mr Edwards claims that Mark Epstein (Jeffrey’s brother) testified that Mr Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane with him, LegalNewz.com reported.

“Epstein’s phone directory from his computer contains 14 phone numbers for Donald Trump, including emergency numbers, car numbers, and numbers to Trump’s security guard and houseman,” the affidavit reportedly claims.

Court records in an earlier civil case against Mr Epstein allege that he molested more than 40 girls between 2002 and 2005 at his Florida mansion.

There is no evidence to suggest any involvement from Mr Trump, but the records claim that “message pads confiscated from Epstein’s home indicated that Trump called Epstein’s West Palm Beach mansion on several occasions”.

It also quotes an interview with Mr Trump, featured in New York Magazine, in which he said: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it, Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

In 2007, Epstein was given what critics branded a “sweetheart” deal by federal prosecutors over allegations he sexually assaulted young girls.

The deal was overseen by Alexander Acosta, Mr Trump’s now Labour Secretary nominee. Mr Acosta is expected to face questions on the issue at his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing.

The non-prosecution agreement ensured Epstein and any “co-conspirators” would not be prosecuted federally in exchange for the billionaire pleading guilty to state charges.

This story has taken an interesting turn. I am currently watching the Hannity Show. He started his show with a 10 minute rant about how Liberal Fascism is out to silence him. Of that, I have no doubt. He went on to say than an unnamed person has been serial stalking him for over a decade. He stated that he had formed a team of some off the best lawyers that money could buy to combat this stalking. I have no doubt that Hannity is easily in the top five targets of the left. He is the "go to guy" at Fox News these days. The only problem we have with his story is that the "unnamed person" HAS been named. She is no other than Debbie Schlussel, a FAR RIGHT blogger.

Hannity does not get to blame the far left on this particular opponent. Hannity and Schlussel seem to be on the same side on almost every topic. It would appear as though there is some personal beef between the two. No doubt that the left will take this latest story and run hard with it. The blood letting at FOX NEWS might not be over yet.

On a side note: Tucker Carlson must have a horseshoe stuck up his ass. A few months ago this guy did not even have a permanent gig on TV. He slid into a prime time slot with the departure of Megyn Kelly. Now this guy slides into the #1 time slot at FOX NEWS with the sudden departure of Bill O"Reilly. From nowheresville to the top slot in a couple of months. This guy is either heavily juiced in with the new management, or he is one lucky SOB. I would be buying lottery tickets if I were this guy. He is on a roll and then some.
